Janice Baun Coulter Memorial Fund

A project that is near and dear to Uplifting Women’s heart is the Janice Baun Coulter Memorial Fund. Janice, sadly lost her battle with cancer, and to honor her bright spirit, Uplifting women raised $800 for the Janice Baun Coulter Fund. With these generous donations raised from our 50/50 at our 2025 Ladies Night Out Event, we were able to purchase a memorial bench that will be homed at the Stoneboro fair, a place near and dear to Janice’s heart. With these funds, we will also be sponsoring a “pass it on” day at a local coffee shop. Janice was a Cup of Hope coffee shop lover, later this fall we will be donating funds that will be used to pay for customers drinks. An act of kindness to brighten someone’s day and put a smile on their face. A banner was also created and purchased to be hung at Sundance Arena, a place loved to go where she spent a lot of time with her family. Lastly, the remaining funds will be donated to Pink Angels, another local organization, based out of Greenville, who provides financial assistance to those that are battling cancer.
